The Problem

Stacking STX directly needs a large minimum, locks funds for two-week cycles, and leaves the position idle. Native BTC has no way to earn Stacks' Bitcoin Staking yield while staying usable in DeFi.

The Solution

Pool STX and sBTC into Stacks PoX-5 through professional signers and issue liquid tokens (stSTX, stSTXbtc, stBTC) that accrue STX or BTC yield and can be used as collateral across Stacks DeFi.

Why it Matters

The first and largest liquid stacking protocol on Stacks (since Dec 2023), the dominant LST collateral on Zest, Bitflow and Arkadiko, and the first stBTC on Stacks Bitcoin Staking, holding the majority of Bond 2 capacity.
