The Problem

On-chain stablecoin yield is either capped at money-market rates (lending) or requires accepting opaque, undifferentiated risk in a single vault. Users cannot easily separate the liquid-yield from the illiquid-yield component of a diversified DeFi book.

The Solution

infiniFi splits depositor capital into a senior (siUSD, liquid) and a junior (liUSD, time-locked) tranche on top of the same USDC backing. Junior depositors absorb first-loss in exchange for amplified yields; senior depositors keep instant convertibility and downside protection.

Why it Matters

Fractional-reserve banking model translated on-chain: a transparent accounting contract, on-chain allocation voting weighted by lock duration, and a FIFO redemption queue — without a governance token or emissions program.
