The Problem

On-chain interest rates are fragmented across lending markets and liquid-staking protocols, there is no trusted benchmark rate for crypto, and the interest-rate arbitrage that would close those gaps is only practical at institutional scale.

The Solution

tAssets pool retail deposits into an automated leveraged rate-arbitrage strategy that harvests the spread between staking yield and borrow cost, while DOR establishes a staked, slashable panel-consensus benchmark rate (TESR/TELR/TEBR) that fixed income products can settle against.

Why it Matters

DOR is the first staked-and-slashable decentralized benchmark rate for digital assets — DefiLlama created a category for it and TESR already anchors a fixed-rate market on Euler. On the deposit side, tETH pairs the leverage loop with protocol-owned peg defences (PPP, an insurance fund, and automated de-peg and utilization unwind triggers) that most looping vaults do not carry.
